This handcrafted Egyptian inspired Hathor necklace was rendered from argentium sterling silver and a luminous 10mm carnelian cabochon set in fine silver which represents the sun. A ray design above the carnelian and a half circle of sterling silver bead wire below the carnelian frame the stone. The stylized horns are framed with twisted silver and all of the elements add up to a unique and one of a kind piece. Oxidized for depth and contrast between the stone and different textures contributing to an exotic and timeless feel, polished for a lovely glow.

Hathor, an important Goddess in ancient Egypt, symbolized many things to the ancients including joy, fertility, motherhood and more. Also known as the cow goddess she was most often depicted with stylized horns and a solar disk.

Sterling silver 2.4mm round rolo chain has a bright finish but can be oxidized if preferred. The pendant measures a bit over 1.5" or 3.81cm long and is a little over 1.25" or 3.1cm wide. This piece is one of a kind and although we may make other Hathor inspired pieces each one will be unique unto itself.
